Within the FMV Işık University Campus in Istanbul – Şile; the construction of D-K building has started in 2006 and at the beginning of 2007, and the construction Works, electrical and mechanical Works are completed and delivered at the beginning of 2007. The classroom building consists of 4 blocks as A, B, C and D. Block A consisting of 35 classrooms, 9 academic member rooms, 7 student club rooms and a 185 m2 cafeteria is opened for education in 2006-2007 academic year. Within the D-K building, there is a 600-person conference room with its 670 m2 foyer. Carrier system is reinforced concrete and blocks A and B are covered with tile lined wooden hipped roof and Block C is covered with a steel roof. The facade of the building is covered with furring bricks and landscaping is done.
